Prints of Milos and Pete Available

There are still folks checking this site quite a bit who are searching for information on Milos or Pete Somers, so I thought I would tell you that full-sized prints of both from the Rock On concert can be downloaded here. The download is free, provided you make a donation to the appropriate trust, or, sure, you could make a donation to both.

Rock On To Fight Cancer 2009

(The post and images below remain exactly as they first appeared on the afternoon of July 10, 2009, before I or anyone else knew that Milos Divic, the organizer of this event and our friend, had been struck by a sudden and devastating illness. He passed away on the afternoon of Sunday, July 12, 2009, less than 72 hours after these photographs were taken.

Rock On To Fight Cancer 2009 (the first annual?) was a blowout charity event held July 9 in east Toronto, organized by Canadian banking magnate Milos Divic. Featured performers were Pottery Road, a kind of throwback 'supergroup' comprised of veteran local musicians, along with special guest vocalist Pete Somers, straight out of Brooklyn the 519 area code. A great time was had by all, and because it was such a special event I'm going to post way, way (way) more images than I normally would. Click on any image to enlarge.
